What does Vijilan do?
Vijilan monitors networks, devices, users, applications, and data for cyber-attacks and alerts Managed Service providers MSPs and IT Professionals when they have to take action.
What does Vijilan look for?

Vijilan looks for anomalies and unusual behavior with users and devices on the network. These activities are potential security threats that can lead into business impact if not mitigated.

How does Vijilan alert MSPs and IT professionals?

Vijilan can contact by phone, email, or ticketing system. Vijilan has its own security case management system that integrates with other tickets system.

Does Vijilan work with IT solution providers?
Yes. Vijilan’s platform is multi-tenant. Managed Service Providers can monitor all their clients from a single portal.
What about Value Added Resellers (VARs)

Vijlian works with Value Added Resellers. Vijilan has the technology and operations to become VAR’s extended team

How about Managed Security Service Providers (MSSPs)?
Vijilan is the Security Operations and Security Information & Event Management (SIEM) technology provider for most MSSPs. MSSPs typically replace their SIEM infrastructure with Vijilan’s SIEM technology.
Can Vijilan work with my Security Operation Center (SOC)?
Yes. Vijilan’s incident response team (IRT) has close relationships with many SOC providers. Vijilan’s IRT is an extension of your SOC.
Where is Vijilan’s Security Operations Center located?
Aventura, Florida. Vijilan’s SOC is USA based.
What types of industries need Vijilan’s services?
Most industries benefit from Vijilan’s security monitoring services. In particular, finance, healthcare, manufacturing, education, legal, government, and now Car dealerships.
How would you see alerts and incidents?
Vijilan has a cloud-based Security Operations portal where users can view alerts and integrate with other ticketing systems
What ticketing system or Professional Services Application (PSA) tool does Vijilan integrate with?
Vijilan has bi-directional integration with ConnectWise, Autotask (Datto which Kaseya owns), Zendesk, Jira, and Freshdesk. We are in the process of integrating with n-able, Syncro, and ServiceNow.
How does Vijilan help with compliance, such as HIPAA, PCI-DSS, GLBA, and others?
Vijilan has hundreds of reports which can be generated ad-hoc or scheduled to run daily, weekly, or monthly. The reports can be disseminated to others once the reports are generated.
What technologies does Vijilan support and integrate with?
Vijilan can monitor firewalls such as Cisco, Juniper, Checkpoint, Fortinet, Sophos, Palo Alto, Meraki, SonicWALL, WatchGuard, and many others. Vijilan managed 90% of the security products used by MSPs and MSSPs
What Endpoint Detection and Response (EDR) products does vijilan support?
Vijilan supports Crowdstrike, SentinelOne, Cylance, McAfee, Symantec, Sophos, Microsoft Defender, and many other EDRs.
Does Vijilan support office 365?
Yes. Vijilan ingests logs from office 365 using API and cross-correlates events across all security products.
How does Vijilan collect information from on-prem devices?
Vijilan uses its own virtual appliance that can be installed in VMware or Hyper-V. It’s a lightweight appliance that requires 2 CPU, 4GB RAM, and about 50GB HD. It can collect logs from firewalls, switches, routers, and other security products on the network. It can also ingest security events from windows servers using Windows Event Forwarder.
Does Vijilan provide EDRs?
Vijilan is vendor agnostic. If organizations don’t have an EDR, we deploy falcon by Crowdstrike. We co-manage falcon and provide remediation.
What happens if the environment doesn’t have a Virtual environment?

You can install it on a small form factor computer like Intel NUC. Vijilan recommends Intel BOXNUC5CPYH NUC PC Celeron N3050

Can I purchase hardware from Vijilan?
Yes, you can place an order for a physical appliance. The appliance is loaded with our application and operating system.
How does Vijilan collect information from Endpoints and Endpoint Detection and Response?
Vijilan uses APIs to collect information from EDRs.
How long does it take to onboard devices, users and start monitoring an environment?
It depends on the scope. Environments with couple of firewalls, a few servers, and 50 users, typically takes about an hour. It includes provisioning the devices, firewalls, and product integration.
How does Vijilan price its services?

Vijilan has five services offered to meet most demands.

ThreatLog: Log collection and storage

ThreatInsight: Gain security insight. The client or partner can monitor all its customers, unlimited devices and users. It’s used to gain insight before subscribing to full-blown SIEM and SOC solutions and charged per client or partner.

ThreatAlert: SIEM-as-a-service plus SOC triage. It’s charged per organization.

ThreatRespond: SIEM-as-a-service plus SOC triage and Incident Response. It’s charged per device or user

ThreatRemediate: ThreatRespond plus remediation. Incident containment, eradication, and recovery. It’s charged per asset.

Does vijilan require a contract?

All contracts are month-to-month. You can pay upfront for one year and save 20%

Can Vijilan products be white labeled?
Yes. It’s a 100% white-labeled product. This includes Vijilan’s SOC portal, the URL, the reports, and all messages.
Does Vijilan have APIs?
Yes. Vijilan has public rest APIs. You can build a solution on top of Vijilan’s services.
